What is
Parents of Tots?
Parents of Tots is a volunteer-run non-profit organization dedicated to supporting families with young children in Wakefield, Stoneham, Woburn, Reading, Melrose and surrounding communities by providing parents with the means to build a supportive social network for themselves and their children.
The services provided by PoT include:
- opportunity to join age-based playgroups for young children
- fantastic, educational, unique and just plain fun fieldtrips, playdates and events for kids ages 0-6 and their families
- monthly Mom's Nights and book club
- handy lists of events and resources available to our families through other community organizations
- free classified listings for members on our website
- online discussion boards
- Birthday Club where the kids get a card in the mail complete with stickers for their special day
- Sunshine Club for our members in need of a few meals when times are tough
- ...and friendships and memories to last a lifetime!
All members receive a monthly newsletter, published from September to June, containing details on the events for the month, tips on anything from bargain shopping to finding personal time, an awesome listing of happenings around town and more.
Dues are just $25.00 per year; however, inability to pay will not exclude anyone from membership in the group and will be kept confidential.
