    A big warm thank you goes to the Wakefield Fire Department for hosting another very successful tour. We got to meet firefighters, climb in fire trucks and learn all about safety equipment and fire fighting tools and procedures.

    We had our annual Holiday Party at the Old Meeting House in Lynnfield. The Big Guy in Red made a visit, and the kids had a great time.

    Parents of Tots hosted a dad's day at Melrose Family Room where the kids and their dads (and moms too!) played, had pizza, and made bird houses with kits donated by Home Depot.

    Calareso's on Main Street in Reading generously donated pumpkins and their space to let the children of Parents of Tots express their creative sides!

    On a nice October afternoon, we met at the Kidspot playground in North Reading. Lots of climbing, swinging, running and laughter for everyone!

    The kids were treated to a story and then got some fancy face painting to go with it. They could also do some related crafts. It was a great experience - and check out that face painting art!
     
  • Winslow Farm

    Winslow Farm is an animal sanctuary in Norton, MA. We took a trip there in June 2008. It was kids' day, so there was some face painting and crafts for everyone to enjoy. We even got some unexpected entertainment from a Renaissance group!

    We hosted a Bouncy Party this winter, complete with Make Your Own Sundaes and Box City. The kids had a blast!

    Our "We Are Women" (Mom's Night Out) event for February was Chocolate Tasting. Thanks to Erin at the Chocolate Truffle in Reading for hosting us for this tasty night!

    The residents and management of Glen Ridge Nursing Home invited us to join them for a presentation from Curious Creatures. The kids and residents alike were amazed by the reptiles in this VERY interactive show!

    We celebrated Cinco de Mayo in (kiddie) style this year! We made made maracas, had pinatas, read books, and ate Mexican food. Thanks to the Beebe Library for having us.
